“This book is a must read for all women. Although it is a fictional story the author has brilliantly captured the many issues that women struggle with and offers hope that can only be found in Jesus. She also shows how looking beyond our own circumstances can bring blessings into our lives and the lives of others. I’ve ministered to broken women for over twenty years and I’m thankful for resources like Rain Dance that will reach women who are hurting and give them hope.” —Sue Liljenberg, International Director, Healing Hearts Ministries International
What happens when a Christian woman facing a childless future and a woman seeking an abortion are waiting to see the same doctor?

What Readers Are Saying. . .
“This book was an amazing balm to my heartbroken soul! As I was reading the story I felt every pain and joy as if it were my own life…then again, it was my life. The pain of infertility hurts and the things people say hurt. This book helped me put some of those things into perspective and begin to heal.
I would recommend this book to any woman who’s ever had infertility issues or who has had an abortion. It’s teaches how to forgive, not only others, but yourself as well. It’s not a “how to” book, but a real-life story and how they dealt with the struggles they were going through.
It was an easy read and I could NOT put it down! I read and cried for days, even after I was finished reading the book!”
“Someone once said “Tread softly because you walk on my dreams.” and how true that statement often is. Joy DeKok’s beautiful novel shouts this out to all her readers. Two young women with vastly different backgrounds, and views on life, meet when both are in crisis. Out of that ‘accidental’ meeting comes an amazing friendship and love.I loved the strength of both woman but also the drawing of characters who were so real in their passions and frailties. We don’t see the ‘perfect Christian’ and the ‘sinful woman’ here but two women trying to find the answers to the deepest pain in their lives. Jonica and Stacie are women we can identify with. A beautiful book with a wonderful message for all of us.”
